Built for daily runners.

The app focuses on simple running accountability and useful Health data, without accounts, tracking, or remote storage.

Streaks and milestones

Track current and past streaks as a list or calendar, and unlock 7-day, 30-day, 100-day, 200-day, and yearly milestones. Set a minimum daily distance and allowed rest days to match how you run.

Run details and records

Inspect duration, distance, pace, speed, heart rate, elevation, VDOT, VO2max, and race projections. Personal records highlight all-time and per-streak bests.

Trend charts

Switch streak charts between VO2max, pace, distance, and BPM. Distance totals by run, week, or month; BPM splits into average or time in heart-rate zones. Trend lines carry each point's min-max range, and rest days are shaded.

Widget, share, export

Add a Home Screen widget, preview and share streak or milestone cards that carry your daily distance rule, and export either a single streak or every recorded run as CSV.

How do I enable Health access?
Open Run of Days and tap Request Access. If you previously denied access, open iPhone Settings, then Health, then Data Access and Devices, then Run of Days, and enable the requested permissions.
Why do I see no runs?
Run of Days reads running workouts from Apple Health. Check that the workout exists in the Health app, confirm Health permissions are enabled for Run of Days, then pull to refresh or restart the app.
How are streaks calculated?
A streak is a run of consecutive days that each meet a minimum daily distance (default 1 mile). Multiple runs on the same day add up and count as one streak day. In Settings you can change the minimum distance and allow a number of rest days per week, month, or year, and Run of Days re-evaluates your whole history under the new rules. Rest days are marked with a moon in the calendar and run list.
What are heart-rate zones?
Run of Days uses an approximate five-zone model. It uses your max heart rate if you set one, otherwise it can estimate max HR from year born and sex. Resting heart rate can be used for heart-rate reserve when available.
What is the difference between VDOT and VO2max?
VO2max is imported from Apple Health when a same-day sample is available. VDOT is estimated by Run of Days from a run's recorded distance and duration. Both are estimates for orientation, not medical or coaching-grade output.
What counts as a record?
Records track personal bests across longest run, fastest pace, highest average heart rate, and longest duration. Each is tracked both all-time and within the current streak, and a celebration appears when a new record is set.
Can I export my data?
Yes. The app can export a selected streak as CSV and can also export every recorded run as CSV from Settings.
